All thanks to One Swipe
Alyssa and Andres met on the dating app Hinge. After just one swipe, they matched on November 18th, 2021. When the two started talking, it turned into a long conversation that lasted well into the night. Alyssa suggested a phone call for the two to get to know each other better and that call turned into a 3-hour conversation. Andres then suggested a date at Felina’s in Ridgewood. He recalls seeing Alyssa that evening as she crossed the street wearing a beautiful grey dress. Over some wine and amazing food, they got know each other until it was time for dessert at Ben and Jerrys. Despite it being a cold November night, they shared ice cream, many laughs and their first kiss.
That moment in time led to Alyssa and Andres spending endless dates together, including from going out to eat at local restaurants to visiting new countries halfway across the world. All of these adventures led to a beautiful summer day on August 11th, 2023. Andres proposed to Alyssa in front of the NYC Skyline at the Chart House in Weehawken, NJ surrounded by family and friends.
